Oooh... that sounds SO GOOD! Shame it would kill my husband to come
near it (seafood allergy) 🙁 I used to go out to Yum-cha for lunch at
least three times a year in Australia to enjoy all those little
dumplings and yummy things. I miss it!

im just glad i was able to find gyoza skins at the supermarket. some
things you only have to make from scratch once to realize that you dont
want to make them from scratch.

By coincidence, we went out for yum cha / dim sum today. Overate,
feasted really, for less than $9 U.S. per person, and had some leftover
to bring home. On the way home I was mentally adding up the hours of
labor involved in the many dishes we had. I'd have had to start
chopping ingredients yesterday evening and continued on through the
night to get it all done. Certain things are best left to restaurants.
