IIRC you'll actually burn more fats if you have a small
amount of carbs on board. A glass or two of juice before
you work out is a good idea.

I'm wondering why I am not losing weight

    2 thoughts on this :-

    Fat restriction
Reduce the fat intake, but if your carbs are too high you are not going lose
weight because your body is burning just carbs.

    Carb restriction

Reduce your carb intake, so your body has to go into processing fat mode.
Again if you eat too much fat you are not going to lose weight.

My friend has a brilliant idea - reduce carbs and fats!

(I am currently getting a lot of carbs so my body is probably chewing on the
ready to use carbs rather than the fats)

My idea was simply this :-

In the morning when I have not eaten or drank, do some strong exercise so
the body burns the fats; then I proceed with my normal low fat with lots of
    carb diet.
