  1. Here is a little more information to give everyone more help in diagnosing(yes I am working with a
    doctor but all input is welcome)my problem(see post below).The blood test showed abnormalities.

    wbc=3.4 L normal=4-11 lymphs=.71 L normal 1-3.4

    Doctor diagnosed me as haveing anemia and leukopenia.Also The tests showed a
    slightly elevated glucose level(137). Well that is about it for now.Feel free to
    email me or post here ALL input is welcome. [email hidden]

    I am a 37 year old male who has had a lot of weird health problems over the past 12 years and would
    like to take another crack at getting it resolved.Anyone feel free to take a crack,but please this
    is not a joke so try to be serious.I eat a good diet and am 5'7 and 165 lbs.I have not been
    diagnosed with anything serious as of present and take 0 meds.Here are some test that I have had
    done,rbc=low,sgpt=elevated(high on 2 tests),ekg=normal,catscan=normal,rhuematoid arthritis
    emzyme=normal,gastric emptying=normal,bp=115/80,pulse=80. Here are the problems I have: fatigue,weak
    legs,breathing is hard after minor exertion,the skin on my face dries out and flakes around my upper
    lip and lips crack,gum peel,mental confusion,last blood test showed a real low rbc count(have not
    had it rechecked),headache if I do hard exercize,occasionaly I can see blood on my stool/toilet
    paper(I have a small hemmerhoid),my eyes are really bloodshot upon rising in the morning,constant
    ringing in ears,sore throat,slow healing after minor bruising/injury. Here is the confusing part.If
    I take a strong vitamin the problems get better.Taking a potent multivitamin in no way resolves the
    problems but it is the difference between functioning at a mediocre level with,or at a
    unsatisfactory level without. Thank you for any help you can provide!

    These are very minor reductions in white cells. Unlikely to cause symptoms and not diagnostic of
    anything. Occasional monitoring would be worthwhile.

    This confuses the hell out of me. It may not be psychiatric-linked even if the outcome includes
    some confusion.

    I think the haemorrhoid is the haemorrhoid is the haemorrhoid and indicates nothing else. Next?

    So in general your symptoms divide into (a) fatigue and weakness,
    (b) lowered immunity, (c) tinnitus and mental confusion.

    Sorry, could be almost anything. Could be scurvy, for instance.

    type the works of Shakespeare, _(---)_ but the Internet has since disproved this theory. / \

  4. One should always get the thyroid tests done too. Really normal TSH is from 0,8-1,6. Thyroid
    antibodies and celiac tests too. Ferritin and hemoglobin. Possibly other autoimmune things. I am
    just a patient myself and usually at alt.support.thyroid (hence the answer about thyroid) nora
