What type of rear and front derailleurs should I get for a double ring drivetrain and a five ring cassette?
It is an older bike, but I wanna put newer parts on it.
Thanks,
Ron

AFAIK a 5-speed has the same chain width as a 7-speed, and I haven't heard anything about clearance issues when using a 8/9 speed derailleur on a 7-speed, so you should be able to use almost any rear derailleur you want. The front might be a bit trickier due to clearance issues, if the FD is made for a thinner chain. If you got a friction shifter on the front this won't be a problem though.
