  1. When I bought my trike last year I pegged the classic recumbent demographic: old bearded guy with an
aerobelly. Rode around in non-cycling clothing too.

Now I've lost so much weight that my aerobelly is gone and my jeans are too big. Lost the beard too.
The thing was an air filter for flying insects.

Between the new clothes, shaving supplies and dumbbells this damn trike is really starting to cost
me. To add insult upon injury now I'm demographically atypical.

Should I be concerned? Do I risk banishment from the group? Should I get rid of my trike so that I
can go back to looking like I own a trike?

    Please help.

    trike?

A bit of humor on the NG! I have the same problem, I weigh 168 pounds, stand 6 feet tall and have no
aerobelly. Actually, I have gained 15 pounds since becoming bent. 🙁 If you are now slim and trim,
it may mean that you must buy a lowracer. Take out the checkbook!
