The jist is that they are simplifying Skymiles rules. What got my
attention was that they are reducing some fees.
Check this out:
Traveling with a pet in the cabin (down from $75 each way; change from
free on Shuttle). The $50 each way fee is valid on Delta, Delta
Connection, Delta Shuttle and Song flights. It is effective for travel
on and after Dec. 15, 2004, for travel within or between the U.S.,
Canada*, the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Bahamas, San Juan, Puerto Rico,
the U.S. Virgin Islands and Mexico.
Apparently, you can bring your dog into the cabin cheaper than you can
check your bike! Don't get me started on golf clubs...
