I suspected the oil in my deepfryer wasn't getting hot enough. Using a candy thermometer, I tested
both thermostats. I set each to 400 and waited 30 minutes each. One measured 330 and the other only
310. Is this normal?
The pot is a Presto, and both thermostats are also Presto.
Comments? Suggestions?
