First of all, I'd like to express my thanks to those who replied on my thread regarding Shimano vs. Campag - very useful. For various reasons, I'm pretty much decided on Campag centaur 9spd triple.
I'm now looking at frames, in particular the Dedacciai SC61.10A/Carbon Dedacciai Black Tail from Ribble Cycles. Incidentally, they have a neat bikebuilder app that lets you spend whole hours combining components which always seem to just exceed your planned budget (Mmmmm, what if I swapped my centaur 9 for a record 10... ah, perhaps not).
Does anyone have any experience of this frame in particular, and SC61.10A in general? Although it's advertised on the Ribble site as a Scandium alloy, another source (for which I have lost the URL, sadly) has indicated that this is incorrect. Sadly the Dedacciai web site doesn't contain much information on this. Not that it matters really; if it does what it says on the packet, it could be made from recycled spam containers for all I care. Er, as long as they washed 'em first, of course.
