Hi all,
Pls help me understand the meaning of the thallium stress
test images. = I've read and=20 understood the procedure of
the thallium stress test (rest versus stress = part,
three=20 different views of the heart - short axis, vertical
and horizontal axis, = various heart parts=20 in these views
- septum, anterior, inferior, etc).
What I've not understood is the relation of the 8 different
images of a = particular stress=20 (or rest) SA/VLA/HLA
view. For example, with respect to the thallium = images of
the links:=20

medicor.comantischemia.htmOpen ↗
- What is the relation of the different images in the same
line of e.g. = the stress short axis view? Are these taken
in different time (left to right?), from different =
angle, or something else?
- In each view (SA/VLA/HLA), you have to compare the stress
image with = the rest image=20 exactly beneath it? If no,
how one should compare?
- Is it true that the short axis view in women can be false
positive, = regarding the LAD area? Is it possible to
cross check with another view/examination?
