I have a Trek that has a sticker on the cross frame bar. I transport my bike on a hitch mounted rack of the inverted L-shape variety, which are quite common. This is a new bike, but after trips to the Sacramento century and Mount Shaster (both four or five hours long) the top frame sticker has become badly crinkled and split.
I note my mate's Cannondale and my mountain bike don't have stickers on the top frame! I doubt it can be fixed, but how easy are these things to remove and what would that do to the paint finish? Any recommendations on how to go about it?
