Hi,
I live in the DC area, and was wondering how to get my hands on classifieds for a good pre-owned hybrid bike. I see loads of cyclists around, but craigslist has very few ads, and the used section of my local bike shop has very shoddy equipment.
Am I missing something? If anyone could let me know a good place to pick up a good used bike, or how to do that, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks - I did try ebay, but as you can see from those results - it's slim pickings for a guy's used hybrid bike.
I guess I was hoping, given how many cyclists there are in DC, that some people on here might know of local stores or venues or classifieds or clubs where people get rid of bikes they no longer need.
Craigslist gets new postings for stuff every day, keep checking there, you never know what you'll find or when you'll find it.
That's how I got my steed - a lot of persistence and patience...
