I have a Dawes Galaxy (1996) and ride every day back and forward to work. Bike has been really good though needs a service every year for new chain etc. Cycle on rough paths (by side of road) or roads mainly with curb hopping essential.
Should I stick with old faithul (with a little upgrading) or should I upgrade? Little worried about going for thinner wheels (currently 32) with curbs etc. Cycle all year round until the snow gets too deep and jams the wheels (North Scotland).
