Yeah...Polar treats all that as proprietary information.

FWIW, the hrm formats aren't too hard to decipher, but it
seems as if certain fields (e.g., Average Speed) are
intentionally obscured (sometimes they are correct, other
times they appear to not be correct). This might have
something to do with Polar option settings (e.g., metric vs.
imperial units), but I've not been able to confirm this.
