  1. Darth Ian has an Orbit childback tandem for hire, and is
    getting stock of Puky children's bikes (the catalogue says
    "children's vehicles" which I think is marvellous).

    The Orbit tandem looks the business, well worth a trial for
    anyone who's thinking of dipping their toe in that
    particular water, and very reasonably priced. We had it on
    our shortlist but of course eventually bought a triplet. We
    might get the Orbit yet.

    Dark side looking a bit thin right now, though - apparently
    every container is being opened at the ports and that is
    making imports very slow (also possibly explains current
    problems with Dawes, whose frames are now made by the
    Itchifani Bicycle Corporation of Taiwan or some such.
