  1. Anybody else catch that blurb on Velonews? This has to hurt Discovery going into the tour. Ekimov is out, Dannielson hurting, Floyd is riding for phonak and Zabriskie riding for CSC. Quite a few leiutenants are falling from around the general...

    Dannielson was not among the 11 invited to tryout camp for Le Tour.Who are the riders potentially joining 6-time Tour winner Lance Armstrong? Jose Azevedo, Manuel Beltran, George Hincapie, Leif Hoste, Benoit Joachim, Benjamin Noval, Pavel Padrnos, Yaroslav Popovych, Chechu Rubiera, and Paolo Savoldelli. Final selection still to be determined...

    Thanks for the info. Last I heard (around the time of the Tour de Georgia) his name being kicked around for the tour. I guess they kicked it off the list...

    A climber on Postal with knee problems due to overuse.
    Reminds me of Heras who always was in the Tour with bandages all over like Return of the Mummy.
    I guess Danielson is just of a more frail physiology.
    This aspect of winnig a GT is underrated.
    When Lance first hired all the spanish climbers they went for a weeks trainig camp in France.
    Tyler, Roberto and Chechu all came out with some tendinitis because no one could train as hard as lance and recover without injury.
