I found a crack in my forks a month ago - probably less than that actually. A crack had come off a
corner where the arch joins to the lower leg near the oil seals. Manitou did the warranty thing with
no problems through the LBS, and I've been out riding on the new forks maybe a half dozen times
absolute tops (very much the middle of winter here the last 3 or 4 weeks). There's now a new crack
in the same place as the crack on the old forks. I'd post a pic but it seems that PBase has
time-limited trial accounts now and I'm out of time...
2003 Answer Skareb Comp forks. I'm no lightweight but I'm not _that_ heavy and I'm no freerider.
Oh well. I'll see what the boys at the LBS say...
