Are there any "real" benefits using Dura Ace shifter/brake housing/cables over the QBP stuff? Or is it just to have grey cables?
Or, perhaps there are other alternatives I should consider.....
Speak now or talk to me about it again in late July!
Thanks for your input.
In my experience the good stuff works smoother. It is probably worth the additional cost as the cable housing should last years with proper care. Cables should also last several seasons, but can be replaced without changing the housing in most cases. Definitely us good cables for shifting to get the best indexing performance.

Should have clarified. I've yet to have a 7800 mis-shift in 7500 miles. Cables are fine. The housing sucks and is cracked in several places...which is prompting the change.
Since a retape job take me all day (got to have it right), I just replace everything else whether it needs it or not.
Just trying to figure out if DA is the way to go or use something else.....
