DA triple FD question

See above. The ultegra and 105 front ders(the 9s ones, not 10s) are a
better design than the 10s ones. since you can use them easily with
52/42/30 or 53/39/30. The 6600 one has the same problem as the 7703 one
does.

The DA triple crankset 7703 is 53/39/30. You can make the DA FD triple
work with your setup, but the Ultegra is optimized for it. Another
words, don't bother, unless you go to 53/39/30.

The DA and now 6600 front der has a cage length on the back that
optimizes it for 53/39/30, not 42. As such, the cage will hit the 42
when in the 52/3 of a ultegra or other triple crank...You can raise it
much too high to make it work, not well. use the front der for the
52/42, an Ultegra 6503 or 105 level of fder.
