  1. I just picked up my bike from the lbs. I bought my daughter a new frame. She got my DA 9 speed
stuff, the DA 10 went on my frame ๐Ÿ™‚. Man, does that stuff shift FAST. The pressure required to
shift is MUCH less the 9 speed. And that is a big deal for me. I crashed this summer and my right
hand is very weak. Occasionally (when cold) I was unable to shift w/o reaching around the bars and
grabbing the shifter/brake lever with my hand. Any decrease in shifting pressure is a pluss for me.

The only components I am waiting for are the Flight deck and the rear derailleur. The lbs put a new
Shimano Ultegra derailluer on the bike for me to use while waiting for my parts. I cannot stress
enought how important a good Local Bike Shop is!

Anyway, I am very happy with the new equipment and cannot wait for the last two items to come in!

Shouldn't your daughter come first? Just kidding.... ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations on the upgrade. It sounds nice! Post a picture so I can drool all over my
    computer screen.
