Get a better "training manual"! 😉
Seriously, if you do have the CycleOps Pro 300PT, it has an integrated power meter. That means you can actually start training with power and stop worrying about "gears"! This book will tell you everything you wanted to know about training with power: Training and Racing with a Power Meter. You may also want to peruse the "Power Training" forum.
