I am trying to find a good cyclometer that I can pop off my bike after a ride and hook up to my computer. I would love to download my ride stats (distance, pace, calories, etc (altitude changes would be groovy too). Does such an animal exist?
I have a pedometer that tracks all of this and then throws it in a database where you can check daily/weekly/grand totals - very helpful for training. Call me lazy, but I just don't want to have to set up my own database and save all of the info in there.
Does anyone know of such an animal? If so, what is it, and approximate cost?
I got a HAC4 from ebay last month with the new usb download kit and cadence added for 250$ and it does everything you say plus has it's own training software that will keep track of your stats by days/weeks/months/years.
Some people have said that they had problems with the mounting but it's easily fixed with zipties (instead of the little rubber rings that are supplied)
hubby had a hac4 and finally returned it for a full refund after having to return it for warranty issues 2 times. also.. the software is complicated and hard to figure out.. bad to non-existant english support
the polar s720i has computer interface with altitude. you have to buy the extra interface (unless your puter had infrared) i love mine!
