I am just going to be getting into cyclecross this year, mostly as cross training for road cycling. I am probably going to get a Felt cyclecross bike. Are these pretty good for the races? And what are some excellent shoes and pedals to have? I will be using them pretty much 100% for cyclecross racing. Thanks.

I've never raced cyclocross but I would think Eggbeaters, with their four sidded entry would be the best choice. As far as the bike goes, that would be a choice only you could make, by doing research and test riding.
