  1. I'm looking for a recommendation for a good cyclocross pedal for racing under $200 (but would strongly prefer under $150). Anyone bought a pedal for cyclocross that rocks?

Obviously my three main criteria in order of importance here are:

    1) ability to get in and out easily (duh!)
    2) weight
    3) cost

On that note, anyone used a shoe for cyclocross they think rocks?

    Thanks!

  2. Hey! So there are a couple nice pedals you can use for cyclocross. The nicest pedal would be the eggbeater 2 ($90) or 3 ($120) from crankbrothers. These pedals are made to shed mud with a four sided entry system which is awesome. Other than that they are relatively light and durable (made from stainless steel). Here is the link for the eggbeater 3s.All in all these are my favorite go-to pedals for cyclocross, you should definitely check them out.

As for shoes...hmmmm....Sidi makes some beautiful mountain shoes that would work well!
