Hopefully this is the best place to post this.
I live in Vancouver BC, and I go to UBC for math (fifth and final year!).
We get two weeks off during the winter olympics in mid february, and it'd be nice to escape the cold, wet and see what cycling is like somewhere warm... like California.
What I'd like is to find out what the best places are to train around California. Well, to figure out what the best cycling cities would be, and meet local road riders who would include me in their race training and show me all the nicest places to bike.
So yes, does anyone have any suggestions as to the best cities to bike in, and how I could meet cool people along the way?
