  1. okay before i get burned at the stake and called an idiot.. im relatively new to the sport.. what do the following words mean? i'll post more as i think of them... thanks!

    Giro is Italian and tranlates literally to "turn" but is used as "tour" as in Giro d'Italia

    velo is French for Bicycle
