Cycling proficiency test in East Lancs?

The old 'cycling proficiency' has been replaced by the new National
Standards for cycle training.
There is no 'test' as such, but the riders undergo a continuous assessment.

Cones in a playground are very much a thing of the past as the training
deals with the real road situation to develop awareness and anticipation
skills, with a particular emphasis on good road positioning.

The instruction is delivered by an accredited instructor who will have
undergone a detailed training course before attaining their qualification,
hold appropriate insurance, and be CRB checked.

You will find that many will come to you to carry out the training as they
use the roads the trainee rides on, and can provide both individual or
small group training.

Only a few local authorities provide training to the level of the National
Standards, although the more forward looking ones are striving to do so.
