Hey, Im finnishing up a hike in two weeks ending in Barcelona. I was wondering if anyone knows a route for crossing the Pyrenees into Carcassonne in France.
Is my best bet to pick up a book of maps in Barcelona or any better suggestions?

There are no doubt several ways to get to Cacassonne from Barcelona via the Pyrenees. Right off the bat I see it's pretty easy to get from Barcelona to Ax Les Thermes, which is very close to some of the best climbs on Earth and offers several routes to Carcassonne. I would try the website Pedal Dancer and contact its owner about such routes. It appears he does a lot of rides in the Pyrenees. FYI, I've been to Carcassonne, and it's a very cool place.
