  1. Does anybody know who televises european bike races or bike tours other than OLN? Now that I am more into cycling I want to see more of this stuff and get to know the riders. I get OLN TV on cable here in South Texas. Maybe a channel on satellite tv. Thanks.

    Raul🙄

  2. go to

www.worldcycling.com and start a vido/DVD collection. They film all the big races in Europe and sell them. These are great during the winter when you cant get out and there is no cycling on TV. Just pop in a DVD.

Don't overlook some of those great races from the 80's and 90's. The '89 TourdeFrance is a must have!!!

  3. There is this website: http://sports.ariatv.com/

that looked pretty interesting. I signed up and watched the race coverage they had available and it was good film, altho the guy doing the commentary was annoying as all get-out.

Anyway, the website said originally that they were going to send me an e-mail, like sometime back in May or June, if I can remember, when they thought they were going to get rolling. Needless to say, I haven't heard anything.

The website is still up though, and they have taken that start date off it, so maybe they are just held up a little, I don't know.

Give it a whirl if you like.

    Whit

  4. For those with broadband (not me unfortunately) there is:
