Cycling Mexico to Argentina or Indonesia to London.
I'm looking for someone to hook up with to do a cycling trip early 2006.
I know it’ll be quiet hard to find someone who’s serious about doing this, so am flexible on routes. As I’m now 30 something I plan to take a fairly relaxed and easy going approach, but have a pretty good idea of what’s involved after doing a big overland motorbike trip a few years ago.
You’re looking at maybe spending around £1000 on the bicycle, tent and other gear. Distance wise you’re looking at 50 – 70 miles a day, which will take around 5 hours.
You don’t need to be a cyclist, I’m not and you can build up your fitness as you go. You will need a certain amount of determination though, as it will be tough going at times.
Also, any advice on the trip is very welcome.
