What goes around, comes around, and here it comes again:
Two guys wrote a book titled, "L.A. Confidential: "The
Secrets of Lance Armstrong" in 2004. Because of that
book, one of Lance's sponsors, SCA Promotions, withheld a
$5 million bonus the company was due to pay him.
Armstrong sued SCA (and won), and the testimony from that
lawsuit and trial became the basis for a second book by
the same two guys, "L.A. Official," with more accusations
about Armstrong. Coming to book stores in 2008, same two
authors--"L.A. Yadda-Yadda."

NO, NO! Armstrong didn't win! SCA just paid all the money owed plus a
bunch more in a settlement prior to the decision. The reason they chose
to settle is most definitely NOT because they were getting their
collective butts kicked worse than Iban Mayo. It was some other reason.
Let's not explore that.
