Missed a lot of rides lately with really bad abdominal pains (bad enough to have been thought to be my appendix) Finally had a test that has shown I have an acute gastric ulcer!!! Hopeful this will be sorted soon. I've had these pains for five years now and it took the health authority in my new area to come up with the answer (West Lothian Health board Namely St John's hospital sucks.
Perth is much better
).
Looking forward to more pain free days and getting back on my trusty bike.
Should I be cycling with a somach ulcer? 😕 I've yet to see my own GP as I only found out on Friday.

Thanks Brunswick_kate I'm feeling well enough to go out on my bike but I wasn't sure if bending over onto the drop bars would irritate things or not. If it's a bit dryer and warmer tomorrow I think I'll go out for a wee trundle and if all feels okay. I'll try and get back into a routine again. 😉
