  1. For a cycling computer...

Wireless or Wire. Which one is best?
    -or-
    is it just personal preference?

  2. Largely down to preference, of course - some people hate the look of a wired computer and some find wireless unreliable/fiddly. I've used both and prefer wired - the wire isn't too obtrusive-looking (the front end of the bike is full of brake/gear cables anyway, one more cable doesn't hurt IMO) and you only have one battery to worry about replacing, and interference/poor signal isn't an issue. Plus, wired models tend to be cheaper, for a given feature set.

  3. mjw_byrne is spot-on. It comes down to personal preference. I dislike the wired ones, as I do not like the clutter and am willing to pay slightly more for that. And the wireless are now as reliable as the wired.

Go with what u like from a well-known brand, and you will be happy with what u buy!
