Cycling 2 way radios

There are many basic two way radios around but most are push button to tyalk and hand held. we are looking for something that has constant open communications and a handsfree function.

Why would you both be far enough away from each other to even need radios?

I know what its like - when they get too far ahead they're too far to hear you yell to them to slow down 🙂

I have considered the 2 way raido option too - the best pair I have seen were approx $70 AUD for two handsets. I think you can get attachment headsets that are voice activated fthat fit most hand held receivers - try an electronics shop such as Tandy if your an aussie - or search the net - your sure to find something suitable.

At the moment, I am settling for buying my riding buddy a mirror so I can wave frantically and hopefully catch her attention🙂

We live in london and it is hard to find an area that has long straight roads so there are alot of turns made along the route and on a 4-5 hour ride it can be easy to get separated.
Radios seem the best option of communication as you have to stop to use a mobile phone

Thanks, Ive been trailing the net with no luck as yet but I'll keep looking.
it puts major time on a ride to have to wait for someone to catch up or to feel a burden on a fellow rider
