Hi, am thiking of buying a bike with cyclescheme, however the bike shop has just said "no" to using my LCC and getting the 10% off. As they will be getting 100% of the money, I can't really see the cyclescheme as "part of another discount". It may be less to me, but this is for tax reasons, nothing to do with the price of the bike.
Anyway, just wondering if any views here or whether anyone has successfully used a discount card when getting a cyclescheme bike.

Well, will reply to my own post. Turns out the 10% goes to cyclescheme. So, maybe I will take a look into administering it myself ... 🙂

If you run your own company, its a doddle to administer yourself. Save all the hassle, make all the gains. No £1000 limit due to the consumer credit act stuff, no need to deduct salary sacrifice (assuming that's how you want it and the company can afford it). Once your company gets to a decent size, then it might be worth outsourcing to someone such as Cyclescheme.
Otherwise, its whatever your employer chooses to run.
