According to the above site Spain is awash with Hostels but when I go
to the booking site only very few come up and they are in major
cities. I plan to go next May, Catalonia mostly. Any experiences out
there?
I've cycled extensively in Spain and there are hotels and hostals. A
hostal is a cheap and cheerful hotel, usually excellent value. Don't
know about actual hostels. We never booked anything in Spain. Just
turned up.
