I have not seen a really good review. Sheldonbrown.com has some interesting stuff.

In general the heavy expensive locks will defeat handtools in the sense that it would take about 15 min to saw through with a titanium hack saw. Some say that a U lock and a cable lock make a good combo as the tools used to defeat those locks are usually different. Having 2 locks also reduces the chance that you do not lock your bike up properly as you will have to screw up twice.

Remember if you screw up and do not lock the bike properly someone might just walk off with it. I have read posts about the thing the bike is locked to being dismantled and the bike stolen.
