Hello, I've looked at this fourm for awhile and just haven't created an account before now. I have a question that i can't seem to find through your search. I just bought a used cycle pro roller trainer at a really good price, everything seemed to look good when i picked it up,but when i got it home and set it up to use it the "rubber band" broke. Guess i should of tried to see if the band had strech before i bought it, but did not. So i guess now my question is, does anyone know where i can get a new/diffrent band? I tried to look on google and on ebay but came up empty handed? The guy i bought it off of said it was older and he hadn't used it for 2-3 years, but i thought it would be a good entry level trainer to try out the roller trainer. I've used my friends but he has a newer cycle ops one, but he didn't know if the bands would be a universal fit or not? thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me!!!!
There are variations in the length of the belts which depends mostly on roller drum size since the bike wheelbase is pretty much the same regardless of roller model. Match up a belt intended for rollers with the same or similar drum diameters. The belts stretch quite a bit so the measurement doesn't have to be exact.
