Cut the ends off Profile Airwing?

I think it'll be fine, but the upturned bits are nice to have. They give you a little something to
grab onto, and help prevent your hands from sliding off the end of the bars (or at least it feels
that way.) I think of them as sort of a replacement for brake hoods.

I did this on my tri bike with some profile ones to get the whole thing to feel like riding on the
hoods of my road bike. Only thing to look out for in my case was that the brake insert would still
have room to fit in the bars, but no strength issues.
