i have have been wanting to build a 29er unicycle that will be for off road i saw that the big apple had a 29 tire of the 3" variety. So my question is are ther any modest frames out there that will eccept this with no modification. i do know that hunter will make one but i dont have that kind of cash or i would just get my coker bak on the road with one of U turns wheels.
thanks
Nate

The Yuni frame has room for the Big Apple tire. The tire is only 2.3" wide, but that is still BIG for a 29er, and there aren't any 700c (29er) rims wide enough to comfortably fit a 3" tire.
If you are going off road take a look at the Nanoraptor or Motoraptor tires too.

The 2.35" Big Apple (the widest I know of) is NOT very suitable for offroad. It wants to climb a grade you're traversing, or the sides of a rut you're riding in. And it has hardly any profile. It's made for roads.
Where did you find a 3" Big Apple? Or was that a typo?
