  1. Are forest-pixies playing tricks on me? This is what my tyre looked like
    at the end of my last ride. The "stripes" face the other direction on
    the other side of the tyre.

    Any ideas as to what causes it?

  2. I think its the inner makings of the side wall. The web inside under the
    rubber. Did you have the tire at a fairly low presure? I think it was
    the web folding and making the dirt rub off.
