Other than sliding a finger onto the computer when approaching a bump, is there a fix for the thing unclipping from the mount?
My Ciclosport HAC4 has popped off the mount a few times, once after hitting a speed bump and once on a washboard-type section on the edge of the pavement. On other occasions, I've heard it bouncing around and stopped to reattach it. The front slot comes loose.
A friend noticed it had come off the second time or it'd be history.
Does anyone have an idea that is something less unsightly than black tape?
Has anyone heard whether Veltec will be selling the mount for the HAC5 (which I hear has solved the problem)?

Yeah, it's a lousy mount. I just used epoxy. Now, it's sort of "permanently" attached to the mount.

i have a hac4 and never had this problem - but have heard about it from others. i dunno, mine seens to clip in securely. you could try to make the clip more secure bu filing a bit off to allow the fastener to go deeper.
