  1. Cream Cheese Cupcakes Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes

    Cream Cheese Cupcakes

    1 (3oz.) package Cream Cheese, softened 1 package Duncan
    Hines Yellow Butter Recipe cake mix 1-1/4 cups Water
    1/2 cup Butter, melted Cream Cheese or Butter Cream Frosting

    In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add cake
    mix, water, melted butter and eggs, mix well, about 2
    minutes on medium speed of mixer. Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls
    into paper-lined muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 25
    minutes or until toothpick stuck in middle comes out clean.
    Remove cupcakes from muffin tins and cool on wire rack. When
    completely cooled, frost.

    Yield: About 2 dozen BonApetite' PattyG from Missouri

    Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes

    1 pkg. Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate cake mix 1-1/3 cups Water
    2/2 cup Canola or Vegetable Oil 3 Eggs 1 can Cherry Pie
    Filling 1 can Vanilla Frostin or some Homemade Butter
    Cream Frosting

    In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs, mix
    well. Spoon batter by 1/4 cupfuls into paper-lined muffin
    tins. Spoon a rounded tsp. of pie filling onto center of
    cupcake batter. Repeat until all cupcakes are poured into
    muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes or until
    toothpick inserted at an angle to stay out of pie filling
    tests clean. Remove to wire rack to cool. When completely
    cooled, frost. To serve add a dollop of leftover pie filling
    to top of cupcake. Yield 2 dozen
