cryotherapy for age spots on face

I haven't had it myself, but my dad gets it fairly often to
remove precancerous patches on his skin. (He spent much too
much time in the sun for quite a bit of his life.) They
simply "burn" the patches off with liquid nitrogen. I gather
it's not particularly painful and doesn't take long at all,
and it works well.

I haven't had it done for age spots, but I have had it done
for warts and some small cancers (too much time surfing when
I was young). The lesion or spot is frozen with liquid
nitrogen. It hurts a little bit, but nothing needing
anaesthetic. A blister forms, but it is usually gone in a
couple of days. Highly effective, and very safe.
