I think the moving bottom bracket (and swinging boom) are bigger love/hate
issues than front wheel drive. I saw a couple cruzbikes a couple of weeks
ago. I was surprised how short a package the bike becomes when it's parked
with the boom flopped full over. The front wheel overlaps some of the back
wheel and it looked like it would easily fit a car's trunk. Check first
though, before taaking my quick observation as fact.

I know 2 people who have one, and they both say that it took getting
used to but now is fine.

Haven't ridden one myself, if I had a need for a second pushbike I'd
consider one.

I was pondering one as a "leave at the railway station" bike based on
a cheap MTB. Pondering is as far as it got.
