Anyone have any experience with this Cruzbike Silvio? It looks cool. I
am a fifty something roadie with prostate problems now caused by the
roadbike saddle(s).

am a fifty something roadie with prostate problems now caused by the
roadbike saddle(s).I don't have any experience of it, but I'll pass on the advice I pass on
to /every/ prospective 'bent rider, which is try as many as you can
before you get one. However cool something looks, or however right on
paper, if the seat or riding position doesn't suit you it's basically a
way to burn a large amount of money. While DF road bikes are to a large
degree, basically interchangeable, different 'bents, even within the same
functional class, can vary enormously. Trying them out is really the
only way to be sure you're getting the (or at least /a/) right one.The Cruzbike website makes quite a deal out of being able to use your
road bike components, but as far as gears go most 'bents use standard
derailleur units in any case, so anything available as a frameset will
probably let you use your existing stuff (though you'd need new levers). So, have a go on a few and see what you think. And preferably have a go
of a few other things too.Pete.
