  1. I do moderate jogging (3 miles) & calisthenics. Would appreciate a
recommendation for a cross training shoe or can i use a running shoe for
    both?

    Thank You

  2. How often do you do 3 miles? But yes, a running shoe will suffice since
I never heard of a "calisthenics shoe".

I've done calisthenics in running shoes for years without problems, and
I've heard very little from others about it being an issue for them.
Wearing a non-running shoe to run 3mi at a time has caused many injuries
over the years. So get a running shoe. Even if you only jog a few miles at
a time, go see a running specific shoe store and have them select the proper
shoe type for your personal jogging motion. Don't rely on price or
non-runners to get you better results - they won't.

    Dave
