  1. Here's a question for the biomechanics types:

I have what I consider crooked legs. Standing with my feet 12" apart
and pointed forward, my kneecaps point inward by about 15°. If I then
crouch without moving my feet, my knees touch about 1/3 of the way into the
crouch. Likewise, with my knees straight ahead (position for a freeweight
squat), my feet stand duckfooted. I only noticed it a few years ago, but
I'm positive it's been there forever. Coaches and trainers since then have
    only responded with dumbfounded looks.
Over the years of training, I noticed that my leg musculature was
different and my injury / sorness tendencies were different - I tended to
develop issues in my hips, calves, and groin. I did have orthotics made for
training and daily wear since this all comes in concert with a case of
overpronation. This podiatrist called me a 'horse' and was in awe that it
had been my first time with any repetitive stress injury. It always made me
wonder how much more efficient and how much more training volume I could
have handled had my legs been straighter.

I would like to hear any input about this subject. Is it common?

    Dave
