Creating GPS routes for Canada

  1. I routinely use Topo USA to create routes/directions to use with a GPS unit
    on the bike.
    I would like to be able to do the same for routes in Canada (or, what the
    heck, for Europe and stuff too).
    Is there a similar product (topo info desirable but not a dea breaker) I
    could use to create routes for Canada?

  2. We used a Garmin Etrex series unit this summer in Quebec w/no problem.
    You will need to purchase their City Select software to get the detail
    you're after. It will take you a while to learn the unit but it works
    fine in CA. Topo available too.
