Would appreciate any comments (plus or neg) about a CRATE BOX (think the recumbent one is $150)
Thanks in advance

I don't have any firsthand experience. In 2001, I did a 'bent tour of Slovakia and Hungary where me
and my buddy flew into Vienna. I had a BikePro Tandem case for my RANS Stratus. He had a Crateworks
'bent box for his P-38.
I was impressed with the sturdiness of the box. Everything except the one piece P-38 seat went into
the Crateworks box. That went into a Duffel that carried his panniers and other gear.
One feature that it did not have was a wheel caddy. I understand that crateworks offers this as an
optional $39 accessory. I would say the wheel caddy is well worth the extra $39.
