By a chain guard do you mean bash guard? My bike doesn't have one but i am considering getting a single sprocket with a bash guard. I think i may have to replace the crank arms and everything though.

my currently has one but thinking about changing to from single crank to mulit peice crank and like 98% of what I have seen didnt have one -
wait so your talking about the plastic guards that come on walmart bikes? no way those suck. when i was a little kid i got a bike from walmart or k-mart or something that had a chain guard. That and the reflectors and stupid warning stickers came off the first day. When ever i get a new bike i always take off stuff like that. reflectors? they just get in the way. oh and kick stands also, what do you need a stand for. if you cant find a tree, setting it on the ground wont hurt a bike.
